Parents of woman killed in crash file wrongful-death suit

Matthew LeBlanc | The Journal Gazette

The parents of a Fort Wayne woman who was killed in a crash last year in which she drove off the road are suing a club where she had been drinking before the crash.

Adre'Onna Milligan, 27, was found pinned in her car in a ditch in the 1100 block of Production Road Dec. 19, 2018. The lawsuit filed in Allen Superior Court by her parents alleges workers at Cover Girls served her alcohol after knowing she was intoxicated and are liable for Milligan's death.

Natasha Threatt and William Amos are seeking damages for funeral and burial expenses as well as "for the loss of Milligan's love and companionship," according to court documents.

The club has not responded to the lawsuit, court records show.
