KOKOMO – Another year, another state title in the Bryant-Coleman family. On Friday night at Kokomo, New Haven's Larresha Bryant-Coleman claimed the state championship at 220 pounds in the Indiana High School Girls Wrestling state championships.

With sister La'Rissa Bryant-Coleman following up her 2019 state title by placing second at the 2020 finals at 195, New Haven took home second in the team competition. Penn scored 136 team points to defend its team title, besting the Bulldogs' 75.

Alex Martz (170) also placed second for New Haven, as did Bellmont's Trinity Coyne (138), Homestead's Isabelle Quade (88) and Wayne's Felicity Stockman (220). Bellmont's Andrea Hernandez (126), Heritage's Amber Hoy (138) and New Haven's Gabrielle Bussard (152) each finished third.
