In a 2-0 vote Friday, the Allen County Commissioners approved a contract with KNOWiNK for electronic poll books to be used in the upcoming November general election.
"I can't believe it's been three years since we bought these poll pads and they've been really great. The poll workers love them, we love them. They give us a lot of data," Beth Dlug, Allen County's director of elections, said. "So here we are three years later and we're going to ask for an extension of the contract that we have for them."
Dlug said there is no cost increase and the contract will be extended for another three years. The Allen County Council approved the $466,725 contract in July 2015.
