Wawasee's Levi Brown signed to play baseball at Anderson on Monday. An infielder and right-handed pitcher, Brown hit .421 during his junior season.

Brown had three home runs and 22 RBI for the Warriors, who went 15-11.

Anderson competes in the Division III Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and went 21-16 in 2019.

Brown's teammate Carter Woody also signed to play basketball at Kellogg Community College on Monday. Woody was named the Wawasee pitcher of the year in each of the last two seasons. He went 4-2 with a 4.57 ERA as a junior, striking out 47 and walking 15.

Kellogg, which is located in Battle Creek, Michigan, plays in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference. In 2019, the Bruins went 40-15, winning an MCCAA state championship, a regional championship and reaching the NJCAA Division II World Series.
