High School schedule changes announced Wednesday

More high school schedule changes were announced on Wednesday. 

The Woodlan boys basketball scrimmage against Wayne, originally planned for Friday, has been postponed and will now by played as a regular season game at Woodlan on Jan. 5. 

The Eastside boys basketball scrimmage at Bishop Dwenger on Thursday has been canceled. 

Jay County boys basketball has had to cancel or postpone the scrimmage and first four games of the season, including the Patriots' ACAC opener against Woodlan, originally scheduled for Dec. 4. 

Snider wrestling has announced that the team will not be competing at Penn on Dec. 19, and the team is looking for alternatives to take the place of that meet. 

Fairfield's girls basketball game against Columbia City, which was to be held Tuesday, has been moved to Dec. 29. 

The South Adams girls basketball game at Parkway on Friday has been pushed back to Dec. 23. Saturday's game at Union City will be varsity only, so the varsity game will begin at 6 p.m. 

The West Noble girls basketball game at Angola on Saturday has been postponed, and the teams are looking for a make-up date.

West Noble wrestling has canceled an event scheduled for Monday at Westview. 

Fremont, which has suspended in-person classes and extracurriculars until Nov. 30, will restart contests on Dec. 4. In addition to the events that have already been canceled or postponed, the boys basketball game against Smith Academy on Dec. 1 and the girls basketball game against Heritage on Dec. 2 have been pushed back. Their first games back will be against Lakeland on Dec. 4 and Dec. 5, respectively. The wrestling team may begin competition at the NECC Duper Dual at West Noble on Dec. 5.
