Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be among the pageboys and bridesmaids at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

Five-year-old George and 3-year-old Charlotte, the elder children of Prince William and his wife Kate, will join children including 7-year-old Savannah Phillips, 6-year-old Isla Phillips and 4-year-old Mia Tindall – all great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II – and Theodora Williams, 6-year-old daughter of pop star Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Williams.

Buckingham Palace said Wednesday that Eugenie has asked elder sister Princess Beatrice to be her maid of honor. The best man will be Thomas Brooksbank, the groom's brother.

The 28-year-old princess, who is ninth in line to the throne, is due to marry liquor company executive Brooksbank Friday in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Skynyrd movie

A New York federal appeals court says a new Lynyrd Skynyrd film can be released despite a dispute over the band's intentions.

The case involves a movie called “Street Survivors: The True Story of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Plane Crash.”

A lower court judge decided previously the film violated a “blood oath” made by bandmembers not to exploit the group's name after a 1977 plane crash that killed its lead singer and songwriter, Ronnie Van Zant.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed that decision Wednesday, letting the movie be distributed.

TV chair steps down

The TV academy's first African-American chairman is stepping down after two years.

Hayma Washington told Variety he decided against seeking a second two-year term so he could focus on his work as a producer and promote diversity.

Washington also has served as chief executive officer of the academy, which administers the Emmy Awards.

An academy spokesman said Tuesday that Washington's replacement will be chosen at upcoming elections for new officers and governors.

Washington was elected in November 2016. He succeeded Bruce Rosenblum, who held the post for five years.
