Anspaugh to answer questions before 'Rudy' screening Sunday at Embassy

Journal Gazette

Director David Anspaugh will take audience questions before a screening of "Rudy" at Embassy Theatre on Sunday afternoon.

"Rudy" is the first film in the Embassy's new “Sports Flicks: Hoosier State Mayhem 2018" movie series, which also includes Anspaugh's "Hoosiers." The Q&A will take place at 3 p.m., followed by the film screening.

As attendees arrive, they can write questions for Anspaugh in the lobby. An Embassy staffer will moderate the discussion on stage, said John Hughey, chief marketing officer for the downtown venue.

Anspaugh, 72, is a Decatur native. He has a star on the "Walk of Recognition" outside the Embassy.

"Hoosiers" will be shown Feb. 17. The sports movie series also includes "Breaking Away" on Feb. 10. Both screenings begin at 3 p.m.

Admission is $10 at the Embassy box office, 1-800-745-3000 or fwembassytheatre.org.
