Alize Johnson had 24 points and 13 rebounds as Fort Wayne defeated the Northern Arizona Suns 99-94 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Friday night.
The game was the first of two for the Mad Ants (7-10) in the Winter Showcase, an event for NBA scouts.
Fort Wayne will face Rio Grande Valley today.
Johnson, on assignment from the Indiana Pacers, made 10 of 21 shots.
The win was the Mad Ants' first victory of the season away from Memorial Coliseum; they are 1-6 on the road.
Brian Bowen II had 21 points and nine rebounds.
Stephan Hicks was back in the Mad Ants' lineup after missing two games with a concussion. He had 13 points and eight rebounds. Naz Mitrou-Long remained out with an ankle injury.
Northern Arizona (2-14) was paced by Jared Harper's 25 points and 13 assists.
Fort Wayne was down 86-76 with 7:50 left in the game, thanks to a Keljin Blevins 3-pointer.
But Fort Wayne went on a 20-2 run, culminating with a 3-pointer by Johnson with 1:01 left, to take control.
