KIMBERLY DUPPS TRUESDELL | For The Journal Gazette

Two local eating establishments have announced that they will close by the end of the month.

Kaysan's 5th Down, 5830 Challenger Parkway, will close after decades of serving the Fort Wayne area. The restaurant posted a sign on its door that stated it will close on Jan. 29. Operators said staffing and supply shortages influenced the decision.

“We would like to thank our customers and it has been a pleasure serving you and being part of the Fort Wayne community,” the sign said.

Red Mango, 4110 W. Jefferson Blvd., announced on its social media accounts that it will close Monday. The frozen yogurt, juice and smoothie shop will be selling most of its equipment and tools. Owners can be reached at 452-0830 or redmangofw@gmail.com.
